Veronica holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in French from Tulane University. While in law school, she conducted research and writing for Judge Schebel of the World Court and drafted a Motion to Reopen in the case of United States v. Nicaragua. Additionally, she served as a clerk for Judge Barrow of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. In 1995 she was admitted to the Bars of Virginia and New York. Since that time Veronica has served as a Guardian ad Litem for children and represented individuals and businesses in civil law matters.

Veronica has lived in Paris, France, where she studied the fine arts at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and Florence, Italy, where she studied art at Istituto Michelangelo. She enjoys experiencing diverse cultures and languages, which drew her to the practice of immigration law.

In her spare time, she enjoys drawing art with philosophical themes, reading French literature, and spending time with her daughter, Quincy.
